How to set up Yandex Mail SMTP
- Yandex Mail → Settings → Email clients → enable IMAP/SMTP access.
- Yandex ID → Security → App passwords → create one for "Mail".
- App settings: host smtp.yandex.com, port 465 SSL/TLS, username = full address, password = app password.
Sending limits
- Daily limits apply per account (Yandex documents them per service; free accounts are capped in the hundreds per day).
- From must be the account or a verified alias.
Things that catch people out
- Yandex 360 for Business accounts use the same host with the custom-domain address as username.
