Effective date: 19 September 2026 · Version: 2.0
This Acceptable Use & Anti-Spam Policy (the "Policy") forms part of the Terms of Service between you and RNS STAR LLC, the operator of QUEENSMTP.COM ("QUEENSMTP", "we", "us"). Capitalised terms have the meaning given in the Terms. If anything in this Policy is stricter than the Terms, this Policy applies.
QUEENSMTP is a permission-based email delivery platform. We exist to deliver mail that people asked to receive. We have a zero-tolerance position on unsolicited email, phishing, fraud and malware, and we enforce it without exception, because a single abusive sender damages the deliverability of every honest customer who shares our infrastructure.
1. Consent standard
You may send a message through the Services only to a Recipient who has given you express, verifiable, prior consent to receive that type of message from you, or with whom you have an existing customer relationship that the message directly concerns. In particular:
- Express means affirmative. The Recipient took a deliberate action to request your mail, such as typing their address into your sign-up form or ticking an unticked box. Pre-ticked boxes, buried consent in terms and conditions, silence, inactivity and "implied" consent do not count.
- Verifiable means documented. For every address you must be able to show when, where and how consent was obtained: date and time, the URL or form, the IP address, and the wording the Recipient agreed to. We may ask for this evidence at any time and you must produce it within 48 hours. Failure to produce it is treated as absence of consent.
- Consent is specific. An address collected for one purpose (a receipt, a support request, a download) may not be used for marketing unless the Recipient separately agreed to marketing.
- Consent expires. Marketing mail may not be sent to an address that has shown no opening, click or reply activity for 12 months, and never to an address collected more than 24 months ago without renewed consent. Re-permission campaigns are themselves marketing and require existing consent.
- Transactional mail (receipts, password resets, account notices, delivery updates) may be sent to an existing customer without marketing consent, but must contain no promotional content and must be sent only in response to an action the Recipient took or a relationship they hold.
- Double opt-in (confirmed subscription) is required for any list that will receive marketing mail at scale, for every restricted category in section 4, and for every account that has been placed under review.
2. Prohibited practices
You must not, and must not allow anyone using your account to:
- Send unsolicited bulk or commercial email of any kind, to any number of Recipients.
- Send to purchased, rented, leased, traded, scraped, harvested, appended, co-registration or "opt-in" lists obtained from a third party, whatever the seller claims about consent. A list you did not build yourself from your own Recipients cannot be used.
- Send to addresses generated by guessing, dictionary attack, permutation or role-account enumeration, or to any address you cannot trace to a consent record.
- Use the Services, or the responses of receiving mail servers, to verify, validate, clean, test or enumerate email addresses.
- Forge, spoof or obscure the sender, the origin, the routing or the headers of a message, or use a From domain you do not own and have not verified with us.
- Use misleading subject lines, false "Re:" or "Fwd:" prefixes, fake personal messages, hidden or invisible text, image-only bodies, obfuscated or cloaked links, redirect chains or URL shorteners intended to hide a destination, or any technique intended to evade spam filtering.
- Impersonate any person, brand, bank, government agency, courier, mailbox provider or QUEENSMTP itself, or suggest an affiliation you do not have.
- Omit or fake the identity of the sender, the sender's postal address, or an unsubscribe mechanism in a commercial message.
- Continue to mail an address after it has unsubscribed, complained or hard-bounced, or attempt to remove, bypass or "wash" suppression records.
- Send mail on behalf of a third party, or resell access to the Services, unless every domain used is verified in your account and you accept full responsibility for that party's compliance with this Policy.
- Open additional accounts, or use another person's account, to evade limits, warm-up, review, suspension or termination.
- Probe, scan, flood, overload or interfere with the Services, or attempt to circumvent our rate limits, screening, authentication or billing.
3. Prohibited content
The following may never be sent through the Services, whether or not the Recipient consented:
- Phishing, credential harvesting, fake login pages, account-verification pretexts or any attempt to obtain passwords, payment details or personal data by deception.
- Malware, ransomware, spyware, exploits, or links or attachments that deliver them.
- Fraud and scams of every kind, including advance-fee and inheritance schemes, fake invoices and invoice redirection, business email compromise, technology-support scams, lottery and prize scams, romance and investment scams, and fake job offers.
- Pyramid, Ponzi, matrix, chain-letter, multi-level-marketing recruitment, "get rich quick", "work from home" and guaranteed-return schemes.
- Unregistered or misrepresented financial products, including binary options, forex and cryptocurrency "signals", pump-and-dump promotions, unlicensed lending, credit repair and debt relief offers.
- Pharmaceuticals, controlled substances, illegal drugs, or anything requiring a licence the sender does not hold.
- Counterfeit or grey-market goods, stolen data, hacking tools, or services for defeating security or copyright protection.
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives, or instructions for making them.
- Sexual content sent to anyone who did not explicitly request it, and any sexual content involving minors, which we report to the authorities.
- Harassment, threats, stalking, defamation, doxxing, hate speech or incitement of violence.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademark or other rights of a third party.
- Anything that is unlawful where it is sent from, where we operate, or where the Recipient receives it.
4. Restricted categories requiring prior written approval
The categories below attract disproportionate complaint rates and regulatory risk. Sending in any of them is prohibited unless you have first applied to support@queensmtp.com and received written approval, which is granted only to licensed, identifiable businesses with confirmed double opt-in lists, may be conditioned on lower limits and enhanced monitoring, and may be withdrawn at any time:
- Lawful adult entertainment and dating services.
- Licensed gambling, betting, lotteries and sweepstakes.
- Cryptocurrency, trading, investment, insurance, mortgage and loan products.
- Licensed pharmacies, nutritional supplements, weight-loss and "miracle" health products.
- Cannabis, CBD, tobacco and vaping products where lawful.
- Affiliate marketing, lead generation and any campaign promoting an offer you do not own.
- Political, religious and advocacy mass mailings.
- Bulk recruitment, "earn from home" and business-opportunity mailings.
5. Requirements for every message
- Authenticated domain. The From address must use a domain you own that has verified SPF, DKIM and DMARC records and a secured tracking host in your account. Public mailbox domains (such as gmail.com, outlook.com or yahoo.com) cannot be used as a From domain. Sending stops automatically if any record lapses.
- Honest identity. The From name, From address and Reply-To must accurately identify you or your organisation, and the Reply-To must reach a monitored mailbox.
- Accurate subject. The subject line must reflect the content of the message.
- Postal address. Every commercial message must include the sender's valid physical postal address.
- Unsubscribe. Every marketing message must carry a clearly visible unsubscribe link that works without login, payment or a reply, together with the one-click
List-UnsubscribeandList-Unsubscribe-Postheaders we add. Opt-outs are applied to your suppression list immediately and permanently; you may not send to that address again from any domain on your account. - Consistent content. Landing pages must match the message, links must go where they say, and tracking may not be disabled or obscured to evade complaint attribution.
- Legal compliance. You are solely responsible for complying with every law that applies to your mail, including the CAN-SPAM Act, the GDPR and UK GDPR, the ePrivacy Directive, CASL, Australia's Spam Act and any local equivalent, and with the sender requirements published by mailbox providers such as Google, Yahoo and Microsoft.
6. Performance thresholds
Deliverability data is monitored continuously on every account, sending domain and IP address. The thresholds below are contractual limits, not aspirations:
| Metric | Expected | Placed under review | Sending paused or suspended |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spam complaint rate | below 0.1% | 0.1% and above | 0.3% and above |
| Hard bounce rate (unknown or invalid addresses) | below 2% | 2% and above | 5% and above |
| Unsubscribe rate on a single send | below 0.5% | 1% and above | at our discretion |
| Spam-trap or honeypot hits | none | — | any |
| Blocklisting of your sending domain | none | — | any, until delisted |
Rates are measured over rolling windows against mail accepted for delivery. A pause imposed under this section is lifted only by a human reviewer, only after you have explained the cause and corrected it, and may be conditioned on double opt-in, list reduction or lower limits.
7. How we monitor and enforce
- Every message is checked before it is accepted: the sending domain's SPF, DKIM and DMARC are re-verified live, the domain is checked against public blocklists, and content is screened by automated systems for the patterns in sections 2 and 3. Non-compliant mail is rejected, not delivered.
- New accounts, new domains and new IP addresses are throttled and warmed up gradually, with separate limits for each mailbox provider. Limits grow only while complaint and bounce data stay clean.
- Accounts are subject to human review at any time. We may require identity verification, business registration, your website, your privacy notice and consent evidence before enabling sending, raising limits or lifting a hold.
- We receive complaints directly from mailbox providers through their feedback loops (including Microsoft's Junk Email Reporting Program, Yahoo's Complaint Feedback Loop and Google Postmaster Tools) and from Recipients. Every complaint suppresses the Recipient for that sender permanently and counts toward the thresholds in section 6.
- Suppression records (unsubscribes, complaints, hard bounces) cannot be edited, exported for re-use elsewhere or removed at a customer's request.
Enforcement. Where circumstances allow we escalate: a warning, then rate limiting or a domain pause, then account suspension, then termination. Phishing, malware, fraud, impersonation, a spam-trap hit, a purchased list or any attempt to evade enforcement results in immediate suspension without notice, and normally in termination. Terminated senders are barred from re-registering, and we may block the person, organisation, domains and payment instruments involved. Terminations for breach are not refunded, and mail still queued is discarded.
Cooperation. We cooperate fully with mailbox providers, anti-abuse organisations, blocklist operators, payment providers and law enforcement. We retain the evidence of abuse, including message samples, headers, consent records you supplied, account details and logs, and we will disclose the identity and contact details of a sender to a mailbox provider, a blocklist operator, a complainant pursuing a claim, or a regulator or law enforcement body where we consider it necessary to investigate or stop abuse or to protect the reputation of our infrastructure.
Appeals. You may appeal an enforcement decision by replying to the enforcement email or writing to support@queensmtp.com. A person reviews every appeal, normally within two business days. Decisions concerning phishing, malware, fraud or purchased lists are final.
8. Reporting abuse
If you have received unwanted mail sent through our infrastructure, or you believe an account is breaching this Policy, write to abuse@queensmtp.com with the full message headers where possible. We acknowledge every report within one business day, investigate every report, and act on substantiated reports without waiting for a second one. Mailbox providers and blocklist operators can reach the same team at postmaster@queensmtp.com.
If you are a Recipient and want to stop receiving mail from a particular sender through our platform, tell us the sender and we will add you to that sender's suppression list, whether or not you have used their unsubscribe link.
9. Changes
We may tighten this Policy at any time, with immediate effect for prohibited practices and content, and otherwise on notice as set out in the Terms. The version in force is the one published on this page.
